Germany Jan 2013

48 Hours in Neuss, Germany

Neuss is  a strange little town where everything seems beautiful and old fashioned and then you literally cross the street and you walk into 2013 American City.  We hardly even got to see this city but what I did see was pretty awesome.  The food was fantastic.  Potatoes, bacon, and cheese.  Pretty much my three favorites.  And there was chocolate cake at the hotel breakfast!  Til next year, Germany.

Cafe we ate at on day of arrival.

Art in the 'garten' by the hotel.

Crazy little squirrel in a shop window.  Hard to see but he was both creepy and adorable.

The rest of the window.  I never figured out what the store was.

Tiny horsie pulling a wagon on the street. So cute!

TJ Maxx.  It looked exactly the same as a US one on the inside too.

Scariest window that ever happened.  The big one moved!

Adorable playground.

German bunnies!!  I love the little spotted lop.

The menu for the place we had dinner that night.  It was so yummy.

Creepy pirate in the window.

I love how all the electrical boxes were painted in different designs.

Everything was so charming.

Another random animal in a store window.

Blood Tower

Amazing little alley way with lamppost.

Creepy thing above the door while we had dinner.
Yummy dinner of fried potatoes with ham and cheese.  I love German food.
